Los Angeles, CA - California State University prides itself in being the first state college to have a sustainability center. The campus strives to be environmentally cautious as the campus emphasizes the importance of recycling. However, recycling contamination prevents plastic from being recycled. This fact prompted the question, is CSUN's recycling genuinely being recycled, or does it end up in landfills?
